The FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index is designed to evaluate the performance of Japanese companies demonstrating outstanding ESG performance. Selection criteria for the index follow a rigorous evaluation model based on international standards. Additionally, the index is recognized as an ESG investment benchmark used by Japan’s Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).
We view our selection for the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index demonstrates that our ESG initiatives meet high standards as recognized internationally.
Further, we believe that our efforts in addressing environmental issues such as climate change and biodiversity, our initiatives related to social issues such as health and safety, and our fair and highly transparent governance structures were evaluated very favorably.
