On February 16, 2026, Daito Trust Construction Co., Ltd. (head office: Tokyo, Japan) was selected for the first time as one of the companies in the Environmentally Sustainable category at the 7th ESG Finance Awards Japan.
The category of Environmentally Sustainable recognizes companies with the aim of providing investors and businesses with practical examples of those that incorporate important environmental opportunities and risks into their management strategies. Selection is based on an evaluation of the extent of a company’s disclosure of risks, business opportunities, strategies, key performance indicators (KPIs), and governance with regard to important environmental issues. We were selected this year in this category in recognition of the comprehensive nature of governance and disclosure across our environmental management efforts.
We promote sales of ZEH rental housing and LCCM rental housing development in the area of decarbonization. In the area of biodiversity, we verify the sustainability of procured lumber, and have formulated our exterior landscaping concept for ecosystem protection, known as Meguru Tomarigi. Our initiatives in the area of recycling include measures to continually improve the recycling rate. We believe these efforts contributed to our recognition in this category.
