Daito Asia Investment PTE LTD, a Group company and a Singaporean subsidiary of Daito Trust Construction Co., Ltd. (headquartered Minato-ku, Tokyo; Naomi Kumakiri, Representative Director and President) invested its first investment of 7.2 million US dollars in Greystar Equity Partners VIII, L.P., a real estate fund managed by Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC, a U.S. holder, developer and manager of apartment homes.
　The injection is from 10 million US dollar committed facility in accordance with the limited partnership investment agreement on November 15, 2013.
Additional injections will be made from its facility during the 8 year fund investment period .

　Greystar is the No. 1 apartment-home management company in the United States that holds, develops and manages apartment homes nationwide in the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom, holding over 50,000 properties and managing about 210,000 units. The Daito Group is the biggest apartment-home management company in Japan, with about 780,000 units under its care. We at Daito believe that investing in the fund and building a cooperative relationship between the two countries’ No. 1 management companies to utilize our synergetic effects will allow us to benefit from Greystar's know-how in the holding, development and management of value-added apartment homes, which will lead to the expansion of our overseas business.
　The Daito Group will continue to focus on the strong apartment home market in Japan while also assessing the utilization of the know-how we have accumulated, including in the overseas market.
