2. Reason
As we released on 28th April, 2008, we planed to acquire treasury stocks
(for wire-off) as part of policy to return to stockholders during the FY2007.
(3,470,000 stocks (the upper) and \18.7 billion (the upper)). However,
we are considering about capital policy comprehensively, so we couldn't
achieve the original goal and acquired only 476,900 stocks (\2.814billion).
About a capital policy considering, we haven't make a decision. Therefore,
we resolved to pay a dividend of FY2007.As we released 21st March,2008,
on "Notice about amendment of next dividend forecast", we're going to pay increase in dividend from ￥52 (based) to ￥180 (plus
￥128) as bonus dividend to achieve the original goal. About this matter
are going to be on the agenda on annual meeting of shareholders at 26th
June, 2008.
3. Considering progress of capital policy and situation
As we released 4th January, 2008, on "About certain report on January 4, 2008", Daito considering the capital policy as standpoint of corporative value improvement. Also we released "Notice about amendment of next dividend forecast" on 21st March ,if we carry out any policy which meets both value of corporation and stockholders, it's possible that we pass a dividend for this end of term, on the other hand we declare a dividend for this end of term, we're going to increase in divided to ￥180 as bonus dividend to achieve the original goal of acquiring treasury stocks. On other released "Notice - Progress of the considering about capital policy -"on 18th April, 2008 and "Indetermination of FY2007 dividend" on 28th April, 2008. we announced we are considering about capital policy
until near the end of May and divided of FY2007 is indetermination. As
for the capital policy, we don't reach any conclusion by any circumstances.
We are going to release after decision immediately.
